After studying works from esteemed directors like Akira Kurosawa, she and the other students in the class were assigned to re-create a classic Japanese film.
Her creation was anything but a masterpiece. In fact, she admits, It was a really bad film. But she also adds, the process was fun and I fell in love with film. I fell in love with the imagery and directing.
