Talk Supes

With election day just around the corner, San Francisco candidates are scrambling to court votes from the city’s high Asian American population. Three Asian American supervisors are campaigning to once again hold the supervisor title--this time in their respective districts. Will they likely get approval from the Asian American voter bloc simply because these candidates are of Asian descent? AsianWeek caught up with the three incumbents to find out where they stand on issues, particularly those pertaining to Asian Americans, what they think of district elections, as well as taking a personal look into what shaped these individuals into the leaders they are today.
