Q & A: Ruling College Football’s Offense

There are easier things to do in this world than implementing a new offense into one of college football’s storied programs. But that’s exactly what Norm Chow, the first-year offensive coordinator of University of Southern California, is doing.

After spending 27 years at Brigham Young University and masterminding their inimitable throwing attack, Chow took his pass-happy style to North Carolina State, but due to familial reasons, the 55-year-old Honolulu native decided after one year that he needed to head back to the West Coast. And now, he is wearing the maroon and gold of the Trojans.
