Don’t Be Fooled By Kung Fool Company

Have you heard of the racist Halloween mask called “Kung Fool”?

After some complaints from our community, it’s now “Kung Fool, R.I.P.” The company says it won’t sell the mask anymore.

But don’t be taken for a Kung Fool.

When I called Steve Stanley, the executive vice president of licensing and general counsel for the mask’s manufacturer, Disguise, I got some cryptic answers that reveal a slight catch...

For over a month, we sat through more than eight hours of editorial board meetings a week to figure out what was going on with this year’s ballot — enduring monotonous speaker-phone interviewees who listed accomplishments for 25 minutes, overly-defensive homeless activists, endless packets of campaign propaganda and enough political spin to power an amusement park ride.
