He Said…: You think guys don’t care about fashion? Here, six guys comment on four different looks.

Tony Wong
AsianWeek general manager

1. This is a really versatile outfit, and she carries it off well. She would look comfortable at the mall or at Buddha Bar. You gotta love those jeans, which give a cute peek-a-boo look at her shoes.

2. Are we dressing up or dressing down? The cross and pearl jewelry bring a touch of class and elegance to the coat and pants, but the light gray zippered hoodie sweatshirt doesn’t blend with the rest of the outfit.

3. The stripes on the jacket sleeve and the army green miniskirt combine in this military look that would make any man salute! But what she needs to pull this whole outfit together are a pair of camouflage Manolo Blahnik Timbs.

4. Nothing in this outfit is particularly bad, but nothing stands out, either. Denim and argyle socks do NOT work together … at least not in this case.

1. This shirt-apron would be very useful for a messy eater.

2. If she’s famous, it’s not for her fashion sense.

3, Nice skirt. Looks like more fabric than thought went into the design, though. And what’s with the stripes on her arm? Is she in the army?

4. Naughty Catholic schoolgirl? Works for me. Nothing overly exciting except what the outfit’s on.

1. The shirt looks like it snaps between the legs. She could use some bling bling.

2. She looks coo’, but the jacket is weak and the chain is long.

3. Donít like the jean jacket. I want to see a little more.

4. She looks good!

1. Around the waist, the shirt makes the girl look a bit wide. The jeans keep in trend with the faded look and the split at the bottom lets you see how pretty the shoes really are. Strappy shoes are sexy. The bell bottoms make the thighs seem slimmer.

2. This outfit is too much. The shoes look too dressy for this kind of look. The pants are baggy and they donít look dressy. The shirt looks like a zip-up sweater. It’s kind of an overly alternative look but dressed up.

3. Jean jackets are makiní a comeback but it should match the bottoms. The skirt is short and adds to sex appeal. The shoes look good and they match the belt. The whole outfit is good, but the red shirt should be a color that matches the tone of the rest of the outfit. But without the jacket, the shirt could work.

4. This is one spicy outfit. The black rim at the bottom of the jean jacket matches the boots and shirt. The knee-high socks are a good touch and make the boots seem higher than they are. The skirt’s stripes make me look down.

1. She looks great. If I had to change one thing, I’d make her exchange the top for a smaller size. It should hug the body all the way down.

2. N/A (Was unable to see image).

3. If you got it, flaunt it. Elle knows how to accentuate her best assets ó those legs and that flat tummy. It’s sexy without being slutty. Take note, Christina Aguilera.

4. Argyle socks? Uh-uh! And that bulky jacket makes her look top-heavy. What’s she hiding underneath it?

Calvin Louie
Gubernatorial candidate

1. Very nice casual. I’ve never seen the slits on the front of jeans. This is good for summer wear.

2. Shopping spree. I like the necklace.

3. Casual beach wear. I like the three-stripe military look. The belt is definitely in.

4. Teeny bopper look. I like the long boots with the denim jacket.
