Donna Karan Named in Sweatshop Suit

Workers from contracted factories allege labor violations

Five garment workers—all of Chinese descent—have sued Donna Karan International, charging the fashion giant of cheating them and hundreds of other workers out of overtime and other wages while they worked at several midtown garment factories in New York, sewing clothes that carried the company’s labels.

The workers’ charges were part of a landmark class-action lawsuit filed in Manhattan Federal Court earlier this month...
