Happy Valentine’s Day
Thank you Judge Doris Ling-Cohan (“NY Judge Ling-Cohan Rules for Gay Marriage,” Feb. 10) for doing the right thing. As a gay Asian American, you make me proud. Let’s just hope that the rest of the country understands that all minorities (Asian, gay, etc.) need to work together to ensure equality for all — not just some people. Happy Valentine’s Day.

No Resting on Lea’s Laurels
I would have been disappointed if Lea Salonga (“Despite a Tony, Lea Still Auditions for Soaps,” Feb. 10) rested on her laurels (or Tony) and expected work to come to her served on a platter.
I’m a Filipino, and Salonga, doing auditions, is really an inspiration for me. Auditions are very much part of being a working actor.

More Dacascos Coverage!
I am a big fan of Mark Dacascos and am always looking for news on his movies and things, so thanks for printing these articles (“Friend-raising for ‘Only the Brave,’” Feb. 10). I would love to know if you have done others on him in the past and would love to see more in the future.

The Untold South Vietnamese Story
DEAR EDITOR: Perhaps someday Hollywood (“Friend-raising for ‘Only the Brave,’” Feb. 10) will also tell the story of all the South Vietnamese who fought against global communism, including the million who died, the many thousands who spent 10 years in forced labor camps, the boat people and the ones left behind who had everything taken from them.
