The Internet is full of anime-related podcasts. Many are done from the bedrooms of zealous otaku, but as any podhead knows, it’s hard to find good quality podcast programming. Anyone who likes anime should check out Anime TV, hosted by former Power Ranger and current anime voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch.
The main focus is anime reviews. A group of anime critics have an open discussion about various anime, giving enough information for you to decide whether to check them out. One thing’s for sure: this group of otaku knows their anime. Viewers can also share opinions of an anime, with ratings and comments that are broadcasted on the show.
With anime rankings, guest appearances from the industry and created personalities such as Otaku Otoko (Otaku Man), Anime TV is a nice little anime fix for the growing mass of anime lovers around the world. For the average person interested in getting to know anime, Anime TV is the Grammar Girl of anime podcasts. This summer the show will have a live broadcast from Anime Expo, and their main guy Bosch will be hosting AX Idol 2007.
