JCCNC New Year’s Gala
January 30, 2008
More than 500 attended the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California’s annual New Year’s gala at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco on Jan. 12.
Proceeds from the party, which featured singer Shigeru Matsuzaki, benefited the San Francisco Japanese Language Class Inc. (also known as Hoshuko).
The Japanese Chamber of Commerce was established in 1951 to promote business between Japan and the United States. It currently has nearly 300 members, including most of the businesses in Northern California with Japanese affiliations.
