S.F. County Central Committees Recommendations

The central committees are obscure bodies that represent either the S.F. Democratic or Republican parties. However, some elected officials in the S.F. Democratic Party are running to control its endorsements. While the recommendations are important, the parties perform an equally important function in registering and presenting issues to APA citizens and naturalized immigrants to vote. This high-priority role should not be ignored in what appears to be a naked power grab.
