Barack’s Buddies Versus McCain’s Integrity

October 15, 2008

It’s father book versus father book between Barack Obama’s Dreams from My Father and John McCain’s Faith of My Fathers (McCain’s memoir was also made into a 2005 TV movie, now on DVD, with nice performances by Chi Moui Lo as a keyman and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as a prison commander.)

Like McCain, his grandfather “Slew” also had low grades and crashed 5 planes-but the senior McCain also commanded a carrier task force in World War II. McCain turned down an offer of early release when his Vietnamese captors realized his father was commander of U.S. forces. Before there was e-mail, McCain was tapping messages on prison walls. “The men I had been honored to serve with called me to the cause, and I had tried to keep faith with them,” McCain wrote. Whatever Dems or the GOP make of McCain’s faults, you can count on McCain to fight for what he believes and tell you exactly what he thinks.

Obama lacks the experience and track record to back up his grand promises and lacks the integrity to stand completely behind anything or anyone in his past, such as his dear but “racist” grandmother. McCain accepts responsibility for his failed first marriage, but Obama’s father left his first wife in Africa before marrying Obama’s mother and brought yet another wife back to Kenya from America.

Obama details his exposure to radicalism, Marxism and drug use in his book. He has renounced not only the faith of his father (Islam), but also Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Jesus-as-black liberation theology as well as Louis Farrakhan, who heralds him as “the messiah.” William Ayers retired as a terrorist but still believes “education is the motor force of revolution.” Michelle Malkin helped uncover that Obama’s campaign-paid ACORN, where he was a trainer, nearly a million dollars for “voter services”; ACORN has been investigated for voter fraud across a dozen states.

Advisors Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson raked in millions as Fannie Mae CEOs, while pushing the “affordable loans” that sparked an economic crisis. Governor Sarah Palin’s media witch burning has only pushed Joe (who?) even further into obscurity, while Obama still opposes McCain’s surge, which “succeeded beyond our dreams.”

You should see the “Sing for Change” children’s music video (with an APA choir leader) on YouTube . It’s since been reposted and parodied as “for Obama, Our Dear Leader,” similar to German and North Korean dictator worship films. There is also a militant “Obama Youth” video where young men chant that they have a future only because of Obama, the alpha and omega.

Asian Americans in last month’s field poll favored Obama by 45 over McCain’s 35 percent, but a third were undecided. That’s not much different from New California Media’s 2004 poll of 43 for Kerry to 36 for Bush, with 20 percent undecided. Still, with Vietnamese (both pro- and anti-Communist) favoring McCain, Asians are the only minority that hasn’t completely fallen into the Obama-nation. You’d think we’d deserve a bit more attention from the GOP.

Yep, looks like McCain stood behind Bush in his debate last night. Not too long ago, he was parroting how he vote like Bush 99% of the time.

We need a President that’s flexible and pragmatic, not someone who is still looking for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Bush opposed McCain’s surge. Iraq would have fallen int complete chaos by now if Obama’s timetable were put into place, and certainly will a bit later if we give him the job. I, and other strong conservatives rate McCain’s positions as all over the map, but that’s still better than Obama’s completely wrong stance. His radical friends and upbringing will ultimately prove to be more harmful to Asian Amercian interests that his adoring radical Asian base realizes.

Iraq was in complete chaos since the invasion, still is in complete chaos, will be in complete chaos no matter who becomes President. Iraq was neither linked to WMD nor Al qaeda. Quilty until proven innocent is not the American way. We manage to spend a trillion dollar, kill a million people, and get rid of Iran’s archrival all with a stroke of a pen.

As we are suffering through this Financial Crisis, its easy to blame China, blame the Democrats, or blame the greedy Banks. However, every American has the responsibility to put the right person in office.

Obama knew the war was wrong then, he knows it’s wrong now. We need to give diplomacy a chance and give our troops some peace. We need to learn to stop using force, stop abusing our military. Our military must be used to protect our country, not halfway around the world creating enemy for target practice.

Huang Fong is right-on as usual.
“Force” never works. always mobilizing COUNTERforce rather than achieving an aim or a goal. Check that “fable” about the wind and the sun and the man in a cloak.
But tell that to the juvey jackanapes now running things. They confuse the “natural” energies of assertion, like that of the blade of grass that insists on piercing the cracks between granite slabs, OR the human need to express itself, the process of “growth” itself, with the distortion of that energy and need into AGGRESSION.
In short, that identical “force” of natural assertion, whether in nature or man, can be a “force” for growth, consturctive development, evolution of sorts, and, even, the gods willing, be the engine for “creativity.”
But, sadly, for far too many of the “human” persuasion, “force” is perecived as a functional tool to bully and/or dominate. Bullying is beneath contempt, and “domination” is a delusion/illusion, because the roles can so easily be interchangeable.
Worse still, the bullies and the would-be dominators indulge in destruction AND “war,” which is, simply, violence, which, ultimately, is self-destruct.
P.S.: Why waste breath or energy on Art, who doesn’t know Hu from whom.

Got something to say?
