All-You-Can-Eat Udon Fundraiser To Benefit Children’s Home in Fukushima, Japan

Friends for Fukushima, with the generous support of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) is hosting an all you can eat udon fundraiser for the Horikawa Aiseien Children’s Home in Fukushima, Japan on Sunday, March 9.

The Horikawa Aiseien Children’s Home in Fukushima is for orphaned, abused and neglected children, who need help now. Their homes were badly damaged in the March 11, 2011 earthquake, which has forced them to undergo complete reconstruction – and to undertake a debt equal to $1.6 million.

Date: Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 11am-4pm
Cost: $10 presale and $12 at the door; $3 a la carte tempura
