Clear the Air Film Festival Set for March 6

Breathe California announces the 3rd Annual Clear the Air Film Fest. This film festival showcases student-produced short films that focus on improving lung health in their communities.

Students from Bay Area high schools or colleges, as well as members of youth-focused community organizations, were invited to submit films that address air quality, tobacco use, and lung health.

Everyone who attends the screening will be eligible to win a raffle prize. Prizes currently include a GoPro Camera, $100 gift card from Borrow Lenses, a Timbuk2 messenger bag, a Peak Design POV kit, and Adobe Photoshop!

Darren Wong, a respiratory therapy student at Skyline College submitted a piece titled “Cessation,” to spread the message of discontinuing smoking.

His short film will be screened at the Clear the Air Film Festival at the New People Cinema in San Francisco next Thursday, March 6 between 7:00pm and 9:30pm.
