SAN FRANCISCO, CA — They’re baaaack! After a sizzling debut in 2012, Sheetal Sheth, Lynn Chen and Michelle Krusiec return in this web-based comedy about three best frenemies and the best book club ever.

Produced by the Center for Asian American Media, NICE GIRLS CREW Seasons 1 and 2 premiered on Comcast On Demand. Season 2 launches online Monday, April 28, 2014. All five episodes of Season 1 can be watched here.

NICE GIRLS CREW features seminal actresses Sheetal Sheth (The World Unseen), Michelle Krusiec (Chinglish) and Lynn Chen (Saving Face) as three childhood friends who gather weekly for a book club, but never actually talk about the book. Their subjects of interest? Cannibalism, cupcakes, and fantasy TV boyfriends—basically everything you’d expect in good company.

In Season 2, the show welcomes new cast members Leonardo Nam (He’s Just Not That Into You) and iconic veteran Tsai Chin (Joy Luck Club), as well as guest spots from comic maverick Parvesh Cheena (Outsourced), and Youtube darling Anthony Ma.

From emerging writer/producer Christine Kwon and award-winning Sundance director Tanuj Chopra (Punching at the Sun), Nice Girls Crew 2 also boasts the cinematography of Anne Misawa (Treeless Mountain; Jack & Diane).
