Hill Physicians Asian Heritage Street Celebration honored several community groups and schools on Aug. 


The AsianWeek Foundation and the Tenderloin Economic Development Project hosted the Hill Physicians Asian Heritage Street Celebration Honorees Reception and Volunteer Appreciation Party on Wed. Aug. 13 at Twitter.

The event sponsored by Twitter, honored several not-for-profit organizations for their work in the Asian Pacific American community and Bay Area public and private schools for their involvement in the Make Some Money For Your School Raffle Program. The event also served as a volunteer appreciation party.

Asian Americans for Community Outreach, Au Co Vietnamese Culural Center, Center for Asian American Media, Chinatown Photographic Society, Filipino American Arts Exposition, Health Connect, JROTC, Kimochi, Inc., Nihonmachi Street Fair, Miss Asian America Pageant, Pacific Asian American Women Bay Area Coalition, Police Activities League, Public Allies Silicon Valley, and Wat Buddhapradeep Temple
