Ways to Send Materials:

Email (preferred): production@asianweek.com.

AsianWeek would like to pass along these guidelines for preparing digital ads using Macintosh:

  • First choice would be a Quark 4 document with placed Photoshop files.
  • Other acceptable software programs are Illustrator 10 and Photoshop 7
  • If at all possible, do NOT use InDesign. We cannot accept files that have been converted to PDFs via InDesign. If you cannot or do not want to distill through Acrobat, please send us the .ps or .eps files with fonts attached and we'll distill it ourselves.

Please submit digital materials in a PDF format with all fonts and images embedded.  Please do not lock the PDF file. EPS format is also acceptable.

If you have any questions, please email either Tom Trent (ttrent@asianweek.com) or Leanna Yip (lyip@asianweek.com). You may also fax us at (415) 397-3080.

AdSend: account CAFIN. Place AsianWeek and date of ad in subject line.

Mail: 809 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94108. AsianWeek accepts 100 MB ZIP disks and CD-Roms with .eps, .pdf or .qxd files as well as camera-ready film.
