| The AsianWeek Foundation and Kearny Street Workshop are hosting a poster design competition for the 2 nd Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration (AHSC). We are looking for innovative artists to create an image that can represent the largest outdoor gathering of Asian Pacific Americans in the nation. The prize-winning design may be used as part of the AHSC Community Outreach campaign. |

| Guidelines Poster designs should be contemporary and graphically eye-catching and/or use a motivating message celebrating Asian Pacific America. We especially look for images that express the beauty of our diverse APA Communities. Check out our website at asianfairsf.com for a sample of last year's poster and photos, information and video about last year's Street Celebration. Each entry must include the artist's name, address, phone number and valid e-mail address. Please submit original work only. Signed release forms are required for copyrighted images or materials. Release forms are also needed for "subjects," whether public or private citizens |

| Prizes The winning entry will be reproduced and distributed as the official 2006 2nd Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration poster and featured on the AsianWeek Foundation and Kearny Street Workshop website. The winner will receive a cash prize of $500. About the Asian Heritage Street Celebration The Asian Heritage Street Celebration is organized by the AsianWeek Foundation in cooperation with the Mayor's APA Heritage Committee and over 100 organizations in the Asian American community. The AsianWeek Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 committed to developing the Voices of Asian America. All proceeds from the Celebration will be donated to local and national charities. The 2nd Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration will be held on May 21, 2006 in San Francisco's Sunset District. |
